Bench

Free 15-minute consult

Let’s work out which assessment fits.

Tell me what’s going on with your child: what’s hard at school, what the teacher has said, or just a feeling you can’t shake. Fifteen minutes is usually enough to know which assessment you’re looking at, and roughly what it costs.

Step 1 of 2

When’s good for you?

Pick anything that could work. The more you tick, the easier it is for me to find a time that fits.

Which days usually work?
And what time of day?

The call is free because you should be able to ask everything you want to ask before you decide anything.

What to expect

Fifteen minutes, and no obligation.

  • On the call

    Fifteen minutes, on the phone.

You tell me what you've been noticing — what's hard at school, what the teacher has said, what you've already tried. I'll ask a few questions. It's a conversation, not an interview.

  • What you'll leave with

Which assessment fits, and roughly what it costs.

By the end you'll know which of the four assessments matches what you're describing, a realistic range of hours and cost for it, and what the timeline would look like.

  • If it isn't a fit

I'll say so, and point you elsewhere.

Bench only does assessments for kids and teens. If what you need is counselling, an autism assessment, or something for an adult, I'll tell you on the call and suggest where to look instead.

How this is different from the intake.

Two different conversations. This one is free and helps you decide. The intake is where the assessment actually starts.
